Houston Advertising Agency wins Go Green, Louie, and AMA awards in January
HOUSTON, TX (February 10, 2012) – Retna Media is proud to announce the win of three major advertising awards in just three short weeks. Retna is definitely making a statement with their winning streak, arriving on the scene as the premiere advertising agency in Houston. Through their revolutionary campaigns, Retna Media has proven their industry expertise and is setting a high standard for the rest of the year.
Retna Media’s first win of the year was from the American Marketing Awards for the breakfast klub’s single ad and promotion campaign. Coinciding with the 10th year anniversary of the company, the rebranding of the breakfast klub won them AMA Houston Marketers of the Year, Best of Category Winners for single location restaurant. this marketing award. Retna received the Louie just days after for their Mayor’s Healthy Hometown campaign, building awareness for the areas of Louisville that could be living a healthier lifestyle. The Louie awards showcase Louisville’s best creative talent. This prestigious award is the first round of the American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards, the world’s largest advertising competition. Last but certainly not least, Retna received the Go Green award for the eco-chic ad designs for One Green Street’s, an award reflective of Retna’s effort to partake in eco-friendly advertising. The Go Green Advertising Awards is the nation’s premier advertising awards program that exclusively recognizes outstanding creativity in advertising while being more conscientious towards our environment.

The campaigns all had a unique strategy dependent upon their marketplace. The Mayor’s Healthy Hometown was a way to help build a healthier Louisville. Retna Media created a full service marketing and advertising campaign including television, radio, and billboard advertisements. They promoted exercising and making better food choices with creative ideas like bike routes around Louisville, Kentucky. For the breakfast klub, Retna launched their rebranding through the 10th Anniversary Kick off Competition, encouraging locals to patronize the breakfast klub. The event, including a Grits Eating Championship competition, attracted over 400 attendees and showcased their new line of products along with their new philosophy. The award given for One Green Street’s eco-chic campaign represented Retna’s own eco-friendly advertising initiatives, showcasing their effort to help the environment. All of Retna’s recent accolades only further the company’s drive to build award-winning brands that compete successfully in the marketplace.
